A Fun Interview with The Literary Vixen

The Literary Vixen agreed to let me interview her about her book blog. You can find her here where she is always featuring new reads and reviews. (I’ll be guest hosting soon to fan girl over a favorite upcoming release.)

Luna: What are your favorite genres to read?

The Literary Vixen: True crime! I also love dark anything. Dark romance or dark fantasy. I also love vampire reads! As you can see, I have a hard time just picking one.

Luna: What do you love most about reviewing books? How about what you like least?

The Literary Vixen: I love that I can share my thoughts with the world about how I feel about a book! I meet new authors and books by reviewing. I love finding a hidden treasure that way! I sometimes receive books to read and that’s a lovely perk.
I don’t like leaving a low rated review. I know I won’t always love every book I read but I feel bad about leaving a low rated review. At the same time, I want to be honest in my reviews so it must be done.

Luna: Tell us a bit about the crazy hours and work that go into reviewing books.

The Literary Vixen: The cool thing is you can fit this in your schedule! Reading a book? Yes please! I am fortunate that I can do this full time. There are some days where work takes over but then I have the evening to unwind with a book. You can find me reading at different times of the day!

Luna: If you could spend a day in any fictional world, which would it be?

The Literary Vixen: I would LOVE to spend time with my girls…you know who they are!

Luna: My witches??? Awww.

The Literary Vixen: Another world is the one Michelle Dare created called The Paranormals of Avynwood.

Luna: What’s your favorite reading drink and/or snack? I’m guessing coffee, coffee, and more coffee because I follow your Instagram.

The Literary Vixen: I am a coffee addict! So when I can, I make a delicious cup of coffee and dive in. Sometimes I mix it up and have wine because wine. I love to snack on popcorn or soft chocolate chip cookies. SO GOOD!

Luna: Can you recommend a read for Valentine’s Day?

The Literary Vixen: Her Wicked Marquess (The Sinful Wallflowers, Book 2) by Stacy Reid is a historical romance with wittiness and that HEA we love! Did I mention a wicked Marquess?
All the Wrong Places by Randi Perrin is a funny romance with a twist! You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. Good times!

Thanks to the Literary Vixen for letting me ask her all the questions.
