Another favorite recent read? Daring and the Duke by Sarah MacLean. This is a steamy historical romance and the third and final installment of the Bareknuckle Bastards trilogy.
In the first two books, we met the Bareknuckle Bastards–Devil, Whit, and Grace as well as Ewan, the “brother” they declared revenge upon. Those two books delivered amazing romances and very satisfying happily-ever-afters (HEAs) for the two brother. Now, it’s Grace’s turn.
But for Grace to find her HEA with Ewan, they will have to address their demons of the past and their very different hopes for the future. Plus, there has to be forgiveness–an extremely difficult emotion to convey realistically in a romance. MacLean more than does the job. She excels in it. The ending is superb.
Highly recommend this series to anyone who loves historical romance.
I’ll put the cover and stepback below for you to see with a link to Sarah MacLean’s site so you can browse her books “with smooching in them” as much as you like. Also, head over to @lilith_saur on Instagram. She does commissioned artwork for authors including amazing illustrations for this series.
That’s all for this week. I only talk about my favorites–the books I love enough to recommend to you. But if you have a genre (historical, paranormal, contemporary, sci-fi, etc.) or a trope (enemies-to-lovers, fated mates, fake engagement, etc.) in romance you’d like to see featured, let me know.
