I’m drafting the next book in The Legacy Series. While I would love to spin five books a year, my process demands a much slower pace. For Book Four, I plotted in February, took a break in March to edit Book One, and began drafting in April.
50,000 words into the first draft, the story is coming along. I’m to those great moments in the middle of a story where everything begins to turn.
Some books turn on one big scene. This one has a one-two-three combo which escalates.
Most of the threads have been spun. It’s almost time to knot, twist, weave, tangle, and eventually get them wrapped to let the characters race to a dramatic climax. With a happily ever after. As always.
Until next week, best witches.
